Statement
Architecture has played a defining role in shaping the way I think creatively. I completed my Bachelor of Architecture at Ara, where I developed a strong foundation in conceptual thinking, spatial awareness and design problem solving. More than learning how to design buildings, architecture taught me how to think critically — how to balance function, emotion, narrative and experience within a single idea.
What continues to draw me to architecture is its ability to influence the way people feel within a space. I'm interested in the relationship between atmosphere and structure, and how material, light, proportion and form can shape human experience in subtle but powerful ways.
Two architects who have heavily influenced my perspective are Roger Walker and Ian Athfield. What I admire most about their work is their boldness and individuality. In a world increasingly saturated with restrained minimalism and repetitive architectural language, their projects feel expressive, playful and unapologetically human. Their willingness to push beyond convention and create architecture with personality has strongly informed the way I approach design across all disciplines.
That influence has encouraged me to value experimentation, narrative and emotional identity within my own work. Whether I'm designing an object, creating imagery or building digital experiences, architecture remains at the core of how I approach composition, systems and storytelling.
