Statement
Art has always been the space where I allow instinct and emotion to take control. Unlike my approach to design and graphic work, which often leans toward refinement and restraint, my artistic practice is far more maximalist, expressive and raw. I'm drawn to layering, texture, symbolism and visual intensity — creating works that feel energetic, imperfect and deeply human.
One of the artists who has influenced me most is Jean-Michel Basquiat. What resonates with me about Basquiat's work is its honesty and immediacy — the way it feels both chaotic and intentional at the same time. His ability to combine gesture, text, abstraction and emotion into something culturally powerful has strongly informed the way I approach composition and storytelling within my own work.
I'm interested in creating art that feels alive — work that carries tension, personality and movement. Much of my process is intuitive, allowing ideas to evolve naturally through layering, mark making and experimentation. I often explore the relationship between beauty and disorder, structure and spontaneity, creating pieces that sit somewhere between controlled composition and emotional release.
Art, for me, is less about perfection and more about presence. It's a way of communicating atmosphere, feeling and identity in a form that doesn't need to be fully explained.
